There’s a shooting somewhere Home Depot parking lot in Bastrop, Texas Wednesday afternoon. The Bastrop Police Department said in an update that a suspect was in custody. Here are five things to know about the suspect and incident:

A 25-year-old man has been identified as a suspect

Police have identified the suspect as 25-year-old Kobe Lee Mosser. According to the Bastrop Police Department, Police were called to the 100 block of Hunters Crossing Boulevard around 3:49 p.m. after reports of a shooting. Deputies from the Bastrop County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies also arrived at the scene.

Moser shot with an AR-15-style rifle

Early information indicates Moser drove into the parking lot and began shooting “indiscriminately” with an AR-15-style rifle, according to the police chief. At one point, he got out of his car and continued shooting.

Investigators believe several vehicles were hit, but the full extent of the damage and the impact on nearby homes is still under investigation.

He was quickly detained

Although the scene was chaotic, it was quickly brought under control. Officer James Hill was the first to arrive on the scene and immediately took Moser into custody without any trouble, according to the Bastrop Police Department.

The police chief praised the response Call it “fast, coordinated, and professional.”

No injuries reported

Despite the scale of the shooting, no casualties were reported. “No injuries have been reported,” the police chief said, adding that authorities were “extremely fortunate” that no one was injured.

Witnesses described the panic

Cody Wilkinson had been shopping at the store earlier in the day, Tell CBS Austin One of his friends was present during the shooting. “I had a friend there and he said people were screaming, people were running, it was chaos,” Wilkinson said.

He added that the incident felt personal. “It’s scary because I’m going to be a dad soon. So bringing a son into it, man, it’s like anything can happen at any time,” he said.
