former president of the united states barack obama has revealed that opposition to Donald Trump caused “real strains” in his marriage to Michelle Obama.
In a new interview with Peter Slavin of The New Yorker, 44th President Barack admitted, Trump’s This behavior brought him back into the political arena more than he “could have hoped for.”
He thinks about what he expects trump card The boundaries of the presidency will be limited and the Constitution will soon be shattered by reality. Barak further noted that this reality almost immediately reinforced the demand for him to speak during Trump’s first term as president, especially when he announced his initial plans to ban Muslims from entering the country and later expand the U.S. migrant detention measures.

The pressure also affected his relationship with Michelle. “It does create real tension in our family and it’s frustrating for her,” Barak said, referring to Michelle’s take on the ongoing demands for his response.
“I’m more tolerant of it because I understand why people feel that way because people don’t compare me historically to other presidents. They don’t care about the fact that no other former president has been a leading surrogate for the party in the four election cycles since they left office.”
The former president added: “She wants to see her husband relax, spend more time with her and enjoy what’s left of our lives.”
The former president has been candid about the impact of political life on his family, particularly the unique pressures Michelle and her daughters Sasha and Malia face.
Barak further stated that he has not publicly criticized the current president since Trump took office in 2017. This comes despite Trump continuing to spread inflammatory rhetoric about his predecessor, including conspiracy theories and accusations of “treason,” and sharing a fabricated video depicting Barak’s arrest.
Most recently, Barrack addressed Trump after he shared a racist video on Truth Social that depicted him and Michelle as apes.
“For people who used to think there had to be some decorum, some sense of decorum and some respect for the office, there doesn’t seem to be any shame in it,” the former president said.
