Baltimore shooting suspect: Police injured in ‘active shooting’ near synagogue, chilling details

The incident happened around 12:30 p.m. in the 6200 block of Park Heights Avenue, near the Agudath Israel of Baltimore Synagogue

The officer was transported to Shock Trauma Hospital, and the suspect’s condition remains unknown.

The city’s Fraternal Order of Police said “all those involved are in good spirits.”

The Baltimore Fraternal Order of Police wrote on X: “We are aware of police involvement in the shooting on the Northwest Side.”

“President Mancuso and State Trustee Cohen were killed along with our involved members, while Guard Glazerman is in shock trauma,” the organization said. “All members involved are in good spirits.”

Authorities asked people to stay away from the area and said they would share more information as it becomes available.
