Rainbow Fire breaks out in San Diego County

Another wildfire also broke out in northern San Diego County, California, on Wednesday, Fox5A San Diego reported. this fire The fire, dubbed the “Rainbow Fire,” was first reported at 12:08 a.m. on April 8 on private land in the Rainbow area.

Firefighters from Cal Fire and other teams were dispatched to the 1600 block of Rainbow Valley Boulevard shortly after noon. The fire started when the burn pile got out of control and spread to about half an acre. Smoke from the fire could be seen from nearby Avocado Highway.

Officials issued evacuation orders for people in the area because of the fire’s proximity to buildings. A temporary evacuation point has been set up in the Seventh-day Adventist Church parking lot at 1200 Old Route 395.

However, the evacuation order was lifted at 1:06 p.m., according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office.

Cal Fire San Diego said firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading further by 12:55 p.m. The specific cause of the fire is currently unknown.
