Mohsin Khan later shared pictures from the night on Instagram and called Sachin the “god of cricket”. He wrote: “An evening with the God of Cricket. Blessed!” He also thanked Arjun for arranging the dinner. Both Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Supergiants have struggled this year intense pulsed light season and are trying to stay relevant in the playoffs. Hardik Pandya-led Mumbai have managed just two wins from nine games and are at the bottom of the table. Their season has also suffered due to inconsistent performances from key players like Suryakumar Yadav and the absence of Rohit Sharma due to injury. The LSG story is very similar. After a promising start, they lost momentum and hit rock bottom after five straight losses. Captain Rishay Pant has also been criticized for his performance and leadership. In the last game, Mohsin Khan’s wonderful 5/23 failed and LSG failed to complete the task.As the season enters a crucial stage, both teams will need performances from India’s senior stars. Hardik Pandya’s captaincy and all-round performance came under scrutiny, while Suryakumar Yadav struggled to convert his starts into big scores. Pant, on the other hand, hopes to lead LSG back to winning ways in tense games.
