First details about interested persons

Police said they were questioning three men and a woman who were seen near the scene in the Avondale community. The men were described as wearing:

  • Black jacket, black baseball cap and blue jeans
  • Black jacket, white hooded sweatshirt and black pants
  • Blue jacket, blue jeans and brown winter hat

The incident occurred around 3:19 a.m. on March 24 in the 3900 block of West Belmont Avenue. Kazanowski was found unconscious with a head injury and was taken to a hospital where he died.
