Suniel Shetty rubbishes negative perceptions about the preparations for Char Dham Yatra and calls his experience an outstanding one. He said one often hears complaints about traffic jams, overcrowding, poor arrangements etc. during pilgrimage, but his experience was completely different.
After reaching Rishikesh, Sunil Shetty said the Char Dham Yatra starts from Rishikesh where thousands of pilgrims from all over the country gather. Despite the heavy influx of people, traffic management and other arrangements in the city remained orderly. He added that police were working around the clock to maintain order.
He further mentioned that despite the hot weather and crowds, the pilgrims did not face any major difficulties. Sunil Shetty commended the Uttarakhand police and local administration for their efforts in ensuring smooth arrangements.
He also said that he plans to make a personal pilgrimage to Chardham during his next visit.
