‘Acquaintance, stalker or former employee’: Chilling Nancy Guthrie Reddit theory emerges as search continues
Chilling theories emerge on Reddit Nancy Guthrie Savannah Guthrie’s mother has been missing for more than four months. There is no suspect named yet, but Nancy is believed to have been abducted from her home in Tucson, Arizona.

I find the blood stains really weird and I’m leaning towards them intending to demand ransom but she died and the people shit themselves and hide.”
The Reddit user refers to an anonymous internet user Arizona who got attention earlier Search Nancy’s address and Savannah’s wages in the weeks leading up to her possible kidnapping. Google Trends data shows Guthrie’s home address was searched on Jan. 11 and she was reported missing three weeks later. It was also searched by someone in the Grand Canyon State between June 21 and June 28, 2025, Fox News Digital reported.
“I think these are some low-level criminals trying to rob her house because they maybe thought she had money or good stuff in it. They probably thought she wasn’t home. The reason for wearing the masks is probably because they are local to the area and the police or people will recognize them and if you get locked up for burglary you could be thrown in jail. Unfortunately she probably died of a heart attack in the process,” one user wrote.
“I think there is a connection between Samantha Guthrie, the first news anchor to give Epstein survivors a platform, and her mother’s kidnapping. The mother was an easier target than Guthrie herself. Maybe whoever hired this person to do this job thought Samantha Guthrie Guthrie had more information than anyone else because she spoke to the victim early on. Volunteers have been searching for Nancy in Mexico after an anonymous tip said her body was located near the Arizona border. The Buscando Corazones group in Nogales, Sonora, had previously discovered more than 25 unmarked graves in the area, and it was reported that Nancy’s remains could be found in the area.
The leader of the local collective claims she received a tip that Nancy’s body was buried in a stream in the Mariposa area. The stream was reportedly located near the Mariposa Port of Entry on the Mexico-Arizona border.
