“A center for arming and financing regime agents”: Israel targets 3 Iranian airports; planes, helicopters hit

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has released footage of fighter jets taking off to launch attacks on Tehran airports and airports as part of a “massive nighttime air campaign” by the IDF targeting Iranian aviation assets.“Substantial air assets, including aircraft and helicopters, as well as additional military infrastructure at Tehran’s three airports of Bahram, Mehrabad and Azmayesh, as well as additional military infrastructure. Mehrabad Airport is used by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force and is a central hub for arming and financing the regime’s terror proxies in the Middle East,” the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a post on X, sharing a video of fighter jets taking off to take part in the operation.The operation was conducted under the direction of the IDF Military Intelligence Directorate and Intelligence Directorate, the IDF said.The IDF added that the Mehrabad airport in particular was hit “repeatedly” during Operation Roaring Lion, referring to its ongoing military campaign against Iran. Israel’s ally the United States – which joined the attack on the Islamic Republic on February 28, sparking a broader Middle East conflict – called the operation “Operation Fury of epic proportions”.The Israeli military called the attack a major blow and “the completed strike further deepened the damage to the Iranian terrorist regime’s air capabilities.”

Netanyahu warns Israel’s ‘adversaries’

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a strong warning to Israel’s “adversaries” after the IDF announced that it had killed the head of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) intelligence organization, Maj. Gen.
