On Saturday, March 21, KVOA aired a special titled “Bringing Her Home: The Disappearance of Nancy Guthrie.” Tucson News 4 spoke with Sheriff Nanos in the early stages of a comprehensive review of the ongoing investigation.

Pima County Sheriff releases timeline of Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance

He detailed the initial timeline Nancy’s The case began when her family reported her missing on February 1, after she was last seen at her home on the night of January 31.

“I was notified by my team that there was a missing person. Search and rescue was combing the area. They were a little concerned about what they saw at the scene,” the sergeant told KVOA.

“I don’t even know I know this is Guthrie The family stayed there until about six to seven o’clock that night. The FBI answered the call on Sunday. We were given a brief briefing on Monday morning. They had already taken care of the scene and we knew we were going to need some help,” he added.

Chris Nanos says he has no regrets about team effort

Speaking of the investigation to find Nancy, application Emphasizing that he has no regrets about his team and their efforts. “I don’t regret that we left the crime scene prematurely or anything. That was stupid.”

He further mentioned that investigators are still reviewing a large amount of digital evidence and information that cannot be disclosed to the public at this time.

Pima County Sheriff sends message to Nancy Guthrie’s kidnapper

Asked what message he would send to Nancy’s captors, Nanos said simply: “Hand her over. Let her go. Let her go. Take her to a clinic, to a hospital, and send her away. Let her go.”

In a KVOA special, Nancy Guthrie’s children – Savannah and her siblings Annie Guthrie and Camron Guthrie – have a message for their mother’s kidnappers.

Despite a $1 million reward from the Guthrie family, Nancy remains missing. So far, no suspects have been identified.
