When someone in the comments section pointed out that “you have to influence pop culture” to win an election and that Kirk and TPUSA “understand the balance between culture and conservatism,” O’Keefe responded, “But it’s funny because TPUSA talks about not participating in these events. You’re missing the point. I’m a Millennial, I’m not a Boomer, and I’m not a prude, and I’m just calling them out for their blatant hypocrisy.”

Kirk is known for advocating for a range of conservative positions, including opposition to abortion, gun control, DEI initiatives and LGBTQ rights. Over time, he also aligned himself with the Christian right and advocated Christian nationalism.
Kirk, 31, was allegedly shot to death Taylor Robinson On September 10, he attended a campus event in Utah. According to a statement from Utah Valley University (UVU), the shooting occurred around 12:20 pm local time during a student Q&A event at UVU in Orem.
