Nancy Guthrie Survey Update

On Wednesday, officials revealed what they discovered on surveillance video recorded near the newly acquired residence. Nancy. Two sources familiar with the situation told NBC News reporter Liz Kreutz that the recent footage does not depict any new suspicious behavior or provide any insight into the day Nancy disappeared.

Earlier this week, the FBI retrieved images from motion-activated security cameras surrounding her mother’s home in Savannah, Arizona’s Catalina Foothills. The images were captured by cameras located near her swimming pool, backyard and side yard and show people in the yard before the abduction. There was no video that day Guthrie was filmed and the FBI was unable to recover any video.

Nancy Guthrie’s neighbors voice concerns

Amid the ongoing search, neighbors expressed concern about an apparent lull in the investigation into the alleged kidnapping. “The police never came to talk to me again. I haven’t seen or heard from investigators at any of the neighboring properties in weeks,” a neighbor who asked not to be named told Us Weekly. “I really don’t know what else they’re doing.”

Nancy was last seen on January 31st and was reported missing after she failed to show up at church the next morning. Authorities found blood on her porch, which they called “very concerning.” The FBI later released a photo of a possible suspect, which depicted a masked and gloved man at Nancy’s front door the night she disappeared.

While the Guthrie family hopes for Nancy’s safe return, they have increased the reward to $1 million and acknowledged that she “may be gone.”
