The US president confirms that White House chief of staff Suzy Wiles has been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer Donald Trump March 16th.
The President of the United States issued a statement on the social media platform Truth Social saying that Wiles will continue to perform his duties during his treatment.
“(She) decided to take on this challenge immediately rather than wait. She had a great medical team and her prognosis was excellent,” Trump said in the Truth Society post. “During her treatment, she spent almost full time in the hospital White House“.
Wiles is the first female chief of staff in the White House and has held the position since Trump’s inauguration in January 2025.
