The Political Science Conclave 2026, organized by the Political Science Society, was held on March 12-13 at the India International Center (IIC), New Delhi. The two-day event brings together academics, policymakers and practitioners to discuss contemporary political thought and public life in India.The conclave was inaugurated by Sukanta Majumdar, Minister of State for Education and Development, Northeast Region. Ram Madhav, Chairman of the India Foundation, delivered a speech as the keynote speaker. Vinay Sahasrabudh, former Chairman of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, and Sanjeev Chopra, former Dean of the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, attended as special guests. The meeting was chaired by Professor MP Singh, former Head, Department of Political Science, University of Delhi.The two-day conclave featured plenary sessions, thematic discussions and workshops in collaboration with India Foundation, Rishihood University, Miranda House, Hindu College, Ground Zero Consulting and Manthan Learning. The conference explored governance, policy innovation, leadership and institutional development. Speakers included Professors MR Madhavan, Niranjan Sahoo, Gurucharan Das, Ashwani Mahajan and academics from universities across India.The academic section includes more than 150 research papers presented at 12 parallel conferences. The conference was attended by approximately 300 participants and 50 speakers representing academia, government, civil society and the media.Sh attended the farewell ceremony.
