Earlier on Friday, Pakistan struck again in the capital of neighboring Afghanistan, killing four people in Kabul, according to Kabul police.Kabul police spokesman Khalid Zadran confirmed the Pakistani bombing, saying attacks from Islamabad hit homes in the city. He wrote on X that the attack left “four dead and 15 injured.”“The latest attacks come as tensions escalate again between the two Islamic neighbors, who have long disputed territory. Islamabad has justified its attacks by claiming that Kabul played a role in numerous terror incidents in Pakistan.Tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan have escalated mainly because Islamabad accuses the Afghan Taliban government of harboring the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), also known as the Pakistani Taliban. Although the TTP is separate from the Afghan Taliban, it shares ideological ties with the group and has intensified attacks into Pakistan from Afghan territory.
