Nancy Guthrie’s bedroom was featured on the “Today” show in 2013, and the clip was discovered by Megyn Kelly, the show’s host. Authorities have yet to find Today show host Savannah GuthrieHer mother reported the 84-year-old missing on February 1 from her home.

Authorities believe she was taken from her Catalina Foothills residence, near Tucson, Arizonathe night before.
Kelly revealed the video, which also shows Guthrie, and weighed in on how it could adversely affect the family.
“So what’s interesting about this video is you can see where she slept every night. And you can see exactly what this kidnapper must have walked into. I mean, what mother is going to dramatically renovate their bedroom when they’re in their 80s, 70s? I mean, that was 13 years ago?” the talk show host said.
She added, “The point is you can see directly into her bedroom, generally, how it looks and how it’s arranged. And she lives in the same house.”
Kelly also linked the bedroom footage to a ransom note the family received after the disappearance.
“At the beginning of the Nancy Guthrie scandal, we received a note from an alleged kidnapper claiming they knew exactly where she kept her Apple Watch. They also described certain things in Nancy’s bedroom… Did the person behind the note see this?” she questioned.
Kelly further continued: “I can describe the inside of that room. If you didn’t know that the Today show aired this video in 2013, you would be pretty sure that I was in Nancy Guthrie’s bedroom… I wonder if the authorities knew that this video was being shown publicly.”
The conservative commentator also noted two ways bad actors might have used Nancy Guthrie’s bedroom footage.
“Really going into the bedroom and showing the most private areas of her mother’s life might give someone the opportunity to somehow manipulate the FBI and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department because they can say you know what it’s like. Or, if you’re a bad guy who’s willing to do some homework, maybe give you a road map of what you’re going to encounter once you get into that bedroom,” Kelly said.
Ex-FBI Agent Slams Anne, Tommaso Cioni Speculation
While information about Guthrie’s case continues to circulate, speculation surrounding the daughter continues to emerge Anne and son-in-law Tommaso Scioni. Guthrie reportedly dined with Anne on the night she was taken, while Sione dropped her home. This made him one of the last people to see her before she was taken away.
Former NewsNation reporter Ashley Banfield also reported that Cione was a possible suspect, but authorities have dismissed that claim. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos has since clarified that none of the Guthrie family members are suspects.
However, scrutiny intensified as rumors continued to circulate on social media and law enforcement reportedly had yet to return the couple’s vehicle. Former FBI agent Jennifer Coffendaver slammed the notion, explain “I can’t wait to break down all the false conclusions, assumptions, and details that are just plain wrong… This must be hard for Annie and Savannah to accept…Imagine being almost accused of murdering your mom and you had nothing to do with it.”
