In an official statement, BCCI congratulated the players, support staff and selectors for their achievement and wished them continued success. With this win, India now have 14 ICC trophies in the senior and under-19 categories, surpassing Australia’s 13 trophies, and become the most successful team in the history of the T20 World Cup.
