The Indian national cricket team not only lifted the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup trophy, but also received a huge bonus after defeating the New Zealand national cricket team in the final in Ahmedabad. The winner will receive US$3 million from the event’s prize pool, which is approximately INR 274.8 crore. Runner-up New Zealand will receive US$1.6 million, which is approximately Rs. 14.65 million. The International Cricket Council distributes the prize money to all teams participating in the tournament, with the total prize money being approximately INR 120 crore.
