Alison Lewandowski: Past Marriage
Before marrying Corey Lewandowski, Allison was married to Brian Kinney, a Massachusetts native who was killed in the 9/11 attacks. Kinney, a 28-year-old manager at accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers in Boston, boarded United Airlines Flight 175 on Sept. 11, 2001, bound for California for a client meeting.
The plane crashed into the South Tower of the World Trade Center in New York, and no one survived. According to a 2002 New York Times article, she and Kinney met as teenagers at a gas station in their hometown of Lowell, Massachusetts. Kinney’s father owned the company and Allison’s father was an employee. The two married in 1998, and three years later, Alison became a widow.
She married Lewandowski in 2005. It’s worth noting that former White House communications director Hope Hicks also allegedly had an affair with Lewandowski.
However, Allison and Lewandowski also share a past. According to the Anchorage Daily News, Allison Hardy (Lewandowski’s maiden name) and Lewandowski first met when Lewandowski was in ninth grade and she was in eighth grade. They dated in high school and college and then went their separate ways. According to reports, Allison’s first marriage, Kinney, was one of Lewandowski’s best friends.
Lewandowski noted that he married Allison when the two came back together over the grief of Kinney’s death. The couple has three sons and a daughter.
