Eligibility Criteria
Domicile :
Applicants must be domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and must possess a valid domicile certificate on or before the cut-off date.
Educational Qualification:
The minimum required qualification for Constable (Executive) posts is Matriculation (10th pass) from a recognized board.
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025):
- General/Open Merit & most reserved categories: 18 to 28 years
- In-Service Police Personnel: Up to 30 years
- SPOs & Volunteer Home Guards: Up to 40 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Age relaxation as per service rules
Reservation Policy
Reservation is applicable as per the Jammu and Kashmir Reservation Act and Rules, including vertical and horizontal reservations. Horizontal reservation includes:
- 15% for Women candidates
- 15% for SPOs
- 4% for Volunteer Home Guards
- Reservation for Ex-Servicemen as per rules
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are not eligible for these posts .

Selection Process
