Sean “Diddy” Combs will be released from prison earlier than originally planned, according to federal Bureau of Prisons records obtained by E! information.

The rapper and music mogul is currently serving a 50-month sentence on prostitution-related charges and is expected to be released from prison on April 25, 2028.
Coombs’ release date was originally scheduled for May 8, 2028, but was subsequently pushed back to June 4, 2028 before the latest adjustment.
The 56-year-old man was transferred from the Metropolitan Detention Center in New York to the Federal Correctional Institution at Fort Dix, New Jersey, a low-security facility in late October, E! reported. information.
During his first weeks at Fort Dix, Coombs faced unfounded rumors of drinking homemade alcohol, which his spokesman vehemently denied. “He has not violated any prison rules,” the representative told People last November, adding, “His sobriety and discipline are top priorities and he is taking them seriously.”
The spokesperson further asked the public to respect Combs’ privacy and focus on personal growth.
Later that month, Combs was photographed behind bars for the first time. Images posted by TMZ show the Bad Boy Records founder wearing a gray jumper and matching sweatpants, with his gray hair and goatee clearly visible. In the photo, he appears to smile at an inmate as he walks down a corridor.
Combs has publicly expressed remorse for his actions. At last year’s sentencing, he told the judge, “I’m not a larger-than-life person, I’m just a human being who tried my best and got lost in my excess and ego,” as quoted by E! information.
He acknowledged that his decision cost him his freedom and limited his ability to spend time with his children and mother.
The rap mogul is the father of Quincy Combs, 34; Justin Combs, 32; Christian “The King” Combs, 27; Chance Combs, 18; twins D’Lila Combs and Jessie Combs, 18; and LoveShaun Combs, 3.
“I would never jeopardize my family,” he said through tears at the sentencing, emphasizing his remorse and commitment to personal change, as quoted by E! information.
