Eberechi Eze scored twice as Arsenal restored a five-point lead at the top of the table with a crucial 4-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur, while Alexis Mac Allister’s dramatic 97th-minute strike sealed a priceless 1-0 win for Liverpool over Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Sunday.Push boundaries with our YouTube channel. Eze made a rare start, opening the scoring with a close-range shot in the 31st minute, repaying the trust of head coach Mikel Arteta. Tottenham responded quickly through Randall Kolo Muani but Arsenal took control of the game after the break.Victor Chokeres restored the lead early in the second half before Eze struck again and Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario parried Bukayo Saka’s effort and finished calmly. Joe Kress added another goal in stoppage time to give Arsenal a statement victory, strengthening Arsenal’s determination to win the league title for the first time in 22 years. Tottenham Hotspur, meanwhile, remain perilously close to the relegation zone, with interim manager Igor Tudor admitting, “This is a lesson learned.”Liverpool bowed out even later but secured a potentially decisive victory in their bid for European qualification. Forest, under their fourth manager of the season, looked set to win a valuable point until Mac Allister struck in stoppage time and Virgil van Dijk’s header was saved. The victory moved Liverpool level on points with Chelsea and Manchester United, keeping their Champions League hopes alive despite a less convincing performance.Elsewhere, Raul Jimenez’s brace helped Fulham beat Sunderland 3-1, while Crystal Palace eased mounting pressure with a dramatic 1-0 victory over Wolves thanks to Evan Gerson’s late winner.
