Ethan Klein has faced five streamer-related legal battles involving copyright and defamation claims. (Image Via Getty)Ethan Klein’s legal battles with streamers have taken a few unexpected turns since 2025. The latest name to enter the picture was iDubbbz, who faced a defamation lawsuit that was filed separately from the copyright cases involving several Twitch streamers. The earlier lawsuits all traced back to Klein’s 102-minute “Content Nuke: Hasan Piker” video. Four streamers eventually became defendants in that dispute, although their situations were far from identical. One settled, another received a default judgment, one is still fighting, and one got added to the case later.
1. iDubbbz
The most recent lawsuit on the list involved Ian “iDubbbz” Jomha and had nothing to do with the earlier copyright dispute.In January 2026, Kick streamer Destiny made a sarcastic comment suggesting that Klein had molested his own children. Klein said he didn’t sue Destiny because he understood that the remark wasn’t serious.Jomha later displayed Destiny’s comment for roughly 40 minutes while playing an alter-ego character, without adding much context. Klein subsequently filed a defamation lawsuit against Jomha in Calgary, Alberta. Jomha confirmed the case on June 9, saying, “It is official. I am being sued by Ethan Klein.”The case ended quickly. Jomha apologized and admitted that using Klein’s children as “an attack vector” was wrong. Klein dropped the lawsuit the same day.
2. SeanDaBlack
SeanDaBlack, whose real name is Sean Wiggs, became part of Klein’s copyright dispute after the original filing.He wasn’t included when Klein and Hila, through their company Ted Entertainment, filed the lawsuit in June 2025. He was added later, becoming the fourth named defendant in the same case alongside Denims, Kaceytron and Frogan.There’s considerably less publicly detailed information about SeanDaBlack’s individual stream than there is about the other defendants. His case also received much less coverage.
3. In proof
Frogan’s case took another route.The former Hasan Piker moderator reportedly left Klein’s video running while she stepped away from her desk. When she came back, she asked, “What happened?”Klein’s lawsuit also pointed to her sarcastic comment, “It’s time to watch the new Nuke ethically,” as evidence that she knew what she was doing with the video.Her legal team then missed the deadline to respond. In May 2026, the court clerk entered a default against her. Klein later said on his podcast that Frogan’s side had simply been misinformed about what was happening with the case.
4. Kaceytron
Kaceytron’s stream stood out for a completely different reason.According to Klein’s complaint, she smoked marijuana roughly 42 times while the broadcast was running and provided relatively little commentary. At some points, she admitted she didn’t understand what she was watching.She also told viewers they could watch “without necessarily supporting Ethan Klein.”Unlike Denims, Kaceytron didn’t continue the fight through the case. She settled with Klein in December 2025. The settlement reportedly involved a public apology as well as funds connected to her own fundraiser.
5. Denims
Alexandra “Denims” Saber is the oldest case on this reverse-chronology list and the only one of the four original Content Nuke defendants still actively fighting.When Klein’s video came out in February 2025, Denims streamed the entire 102-minute video. She paused it 211 times, using those breaks to comment on and challenge his claims.One line became especially relevant to Klein’s lawsuit. Denims told viewers, “if you enjoyed not giving any views to that terrible video, follow, subscribe, throw a prime.” The lawsuit later used that statement as evidence she was deliberately trying to deny Klein revenue.Her legal defense has continued into 2026. Denims raised more than $58,000 toward a $100,000 GoFundMe goal for legal costs. A tentative ruling in June 2026 leaned toward finding her reaction protected under fair use, although the judge had not fully settled the issue.
