Ice Poseidon is not officially wanted or under arrest in Japan, despite a “wanted poster” circulating online. The image was shared by DramaAlert on August 19, 2026, but there is no evidence that it is a Japanese police notice or that Paul Michael Joseph Denino has an active arrest warrant in the country. Japan’s National Police Agency publishes official wanted information, and Ice Poseidon does not appear on its listed wanted suspects. His recent livestreams also show him continuing to travel around Japan. The confusion comes from his past clashes with police, businesses and locals, along with unofficial citizen-made lists targeting nuisance streamers.

Paul Michael Joseph Denino faces no official wanted status in Japan

The “wanted poster” should not be confused with an official Japanese police document. Japanese accounts that track foreign nuisance streamers have also discussed the image and questioned its wording. The account @canceljohnnys has separately posted about Ice Poseidon and his activities in Japan. These citizen-run accounts are not part of Japanese law enforcement.Ice Poseidon has faced several problems in Japan before. During his 2025 Japan and Korea livestream tour, police questioned him and another streamer after they picked and ate mandarins from trees without clear permission. Dexerto reported that about 14 officers became involved after a complaint, with translation devices used during the questioning. There was no reported arrest or criminal charge from that incident. He and other streamers were also stopped from boarding a ferry at Kagoshima during the same trip. JAPAN Forward reported that the group was refused boarding after previous incidents involving disruptive behaviour. (MThose incidents help explain why Ice Poseidon has appeared on citizen-created “wanted” or nuisance lists. One such list in February 2025 was titled “Harassing Japanese Locals” and included Ice Poseidon, Johnny Somali and other streamers. Dexerto reported that the list was created by a Japanese citizen, not the police.

Ice Poseidon’s recent Japan trip and Pokémon store incident

Ice Poseidon has returned to Japan in August 2026 and has continued streaming publicly. One recent incident involved a Pokémon store, where security stopped him after apparently recognising him from a photograph. He later returned wearing different clothes, a hat and sunglasses and managed to enter the store. The incident did not involve a reported police arrest or criminal charge. That distinction matters. A private store can refuse entry, while a citizen group can publish its own warning list. Neither action means someone is officially wanted by Japanese police.Ice Poseidon has faced more serious legal trouble in other countries. He was arrested in Thailand in 2023 over an explicit livestream incident, but that case was later dropped. That history is separate from his current situation in Japan. As of August 20, 2026, there is no verified evidence that Ice Poseidon has been arrested, formally charged or placed on an official Japanese wanted list. The poster circulating online should therefore not be presented as proof of an arrest warrant.
