Mumbai: The DGCA conducted 51 regulatory audits of non-scheduled operators (charter companies) in 2025, the government said on Thursday, adding that all findings from these inspections have been concluded.The civil aviation ministry said the audit included supervision of VSR Ventures, the operator of the Learjet 45 aircraft that crashed in Baramati on January 28.After the accident that killed Ajit Pawar and others, DGCA was directed to conduct an audit of VSR Ventures, covering regulatory compliance, safety management systems, crew training and flight data monitoring practices. The audit began on February 4 and is expected to be completed soon, the ministry said.The Civil Aviation Administration of China also conducts audits of other important non-scheduled operators and airports engaged in VIP business.
