Nancy Guthrie’s latest case: Weeks after “Today” host Savannah Guthrie’s mother disappeared from her home in Tucson, new allegations have surfaced about the host’s husband, Michael Feldman, linking the kidnapping to the Jeffrey Epstein dossier and former President Bill Clinton.
Latest developments in Nancy Guthrie case
A major piece of evidence and clue in the case was a glove found a few miles from Nancy Guthrie’s Tucson home. It was sent for a DNA match. However, there was no further development.
“No DNA was detected in CODIS,” the Pima County Sheriff’s Department said. “At this time, no CODIS matches have been confirmed in this investigation,” the department said, indicating that other DNA samples have passed through the system.
CODIS is a repository of DNA extracted from suspects or guilty persons. Any hits could lead to possible suspects in Guthrie’s disappearance.
A porch camera recorded video of a man wearing a backpack and a ski mask outside Guthrie’s home. The Guthrie family and multiple news outlets received ransom notes. But none of the results led to any strong clues. The kidnappers have not yet been identified.
Update on Michael Feldman
Meanwhile, Savannah Guthrie’s husband, Michael Feldman, arrived in Tucson to help search for his mother-in-law. TMZ shared video of the businessman at Tucson International Airport on Tuesday afternoon.
Some social media theories link Feldman to Epstein’s files. “Her husband’s company is listed as a co-conspirator in Epstein’s dossier…FGS Global,” read a post on the X (formerly Twitter) platform with more than 1 million views.
“Don’t forget that Savannah Guthrie’s husband Michael Feldman worked for the Clinton/Gore administration. Clinton hearings coming up, interesting timing for the Epstein dossier,” another person tweeted.
Fact-checking claims
Is Michael Feldman’s name in the infamous Epstein dossier? No, neither is his current company. We reviewed documents released by the Department of Justice. Michael Feldman wrote an email to Epstein. But it’s probably someone else who describes himself as a “theoretical physicist.”
Did Michael Feldman work with Bill Clinton? Yes. Savannah Guthrie’s husband is a communications consultant who served as chief congressional liaison in the Clinton administration and as a senior adviser to former Vice President Al Gore. He currently works for public relations firm FGS Global.
FGS Global is not listed in the Epstein filing. Feldman helped found the Glover Park Group in 2001, and the group’s name appears twice in Epstein’s dossier. The company merged with other companies in 2021 to form FGS Global.
However, being mentioned in the document does not imply any wrongdoing. Public figures such as Donald Trump, Elon Musk and Bill Clinton were also mentioned.
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said the Guthrie family has been ruled out as possible suspects in Nancy Guthrie’s case.
