“Yeah, yeah, everybody’s on board,” the caller said.

The captain said the boat owner told him the teens “don’t need any help right now, but if things change he will call me back.”
Dispatchers attempted to transfer the teen to the captain, but the call appeared to be disconnected.
Sea Tow later said it did not ultimately tow the vessel, Wave3 reported.
Have Nolan Wells’ friends abandoned him?

“So the bilge is basically a pump, and when water comes in, it releases water from the boat. So I opened the back hatch and the water was flowing onto the battery. That was obviously not good,” recalled Hudson.
“The water is almost over the transom, which is where your engine is, at the stern of the boat. So obviously we’re in an emergency situation. We’re trying to save the boat,” he continued.
“It’s not that we didn’t ask Nolan, or that we left Nolan. Nolan decided to stay on the island with the girl he was with. That girl was also a witness to all this,” he added.
Ben Crump previously announced that an independent autopsy commissioned by Wells’ family was inconclusive. An autopsy found the teen’s cause and manner of death were “undetermined” pending further investigation.
