According to reports from users around the world regarding Xbox network issues, Xbox has recognized multiple issues affecting its online services today.
As of now, multiple features on Xbox Network continue to face “significant issues”: Accounts and Profiles, Games and Games, Stores and Subscriptions, and Apps and Mobile Devices.

Although Microsoft has yet to make any statements regarding the production of Xbox video game discs, rumors suggest that the upcoming next-generation Xbox will be released without a disc drive, indicating a potential long-term strategy for its gaming division.

Currently, Microsoft’s Xbox support page states that a solution to the current issue is “pending.” A timetable for restoring service has not yet been disclosed.
