Sara’s friend, Bekki Rainer Tilley, shared details of a conversation the two had a week ago in a Facebook post. She called Sarah a “beautiful and precious friend.”
“Just yesterday she was texting funny memes, just yesterday! Today I woke up and found her life taken away by a monster. How is this real life?!? You started doing my hair 20 years ago!” Tilley wrote on Facebook.
Just a week ago, the two sat down to discuss “our lives and God,” Tilley said.
“I asked her if she needed protection from that monster and she said ‘I didn’t think he would really hurt me’…and he did. His life was ruined so he wanted to take her innocent precious life too. I hope he is right where he belongs,” she wrote.
“We all talked about how we were ready to be raptured because we were tired of the world and ready to be with Jesus every day. She loved Jesus. She loved her kids and Jesus. She was the most devoted girl. She told me everything every time, always telling me how beautiful I was and how I deserved the world… but she deserved the world. She was the most loving, beautiful woman inside and out. She was always thinking of others,” Tilley continued.
She added, “We have lost a beautiful soul, but I know she is finally getting the peace and love she always wanted and needed. Oh, our sweet Sarah. I wish I could tell you one more time yesterday as we texted and laughed that I loved you. Her smile and laugh were contagious. I love you, my dear friend. Thank you for always being there.”
