Some people reacted to reports of Ginsburg’s shooting. “I’m worried about you and your brother,” one local told The Local, where the incident took place at Circle K.
Someone commented that one person “died” at the scene after “the punches turned into shootings.” Another expressed concern, asking “Are they searching certain areas or the entire town? Should we be worried about this killer now roaming the town?”.

Someone else fumed, “Gun? What the hell happened in the town I grew up in over 50 years ago. Shameful there was a fist fight at a social event afterwards. Very frustrating that it really turned to shit. My best friend lives there. I hope she sells her house and comes to Florida.”
Another concerned person wrote: “Why are teenagers carrying guns?! The police need to address this and end this violence. Schools need to provide better guidance/resources as well. Regret moving here as there seems to be so much crime in one square mile, it’s crazy.”
