So, I’m not here to make money. I’m here to donate money. Stand up and tell the truth. Whether it’s good or bad.”
The pastor also said, “You know Tyler Perry said he was going to pay for the funeral. He must have been watching because he said, ‘I’m going to go along with you and pay $50,000 more.'” So we’re going to give $100,000 to anyone who’s willing to come forward. We just want the truth. That’s all. We just want the truth and we want to thank Tyler Perry,” according to KBTX.
Fields took issue with Wells’ GoFundMe, even though the case has sparked conversations about race because Wells is a black teen who dated white friends. As of now, police say he died of drowning, but are not ruling out the possibility of homicide while awaiting autopsy results.
