X (Twitter) outage update: Thousands complain about service outage; how to fix ‘Tweets not loading’ issue
On Saturday, July 18, X or Twitter was shut down and many users complained about it Elon Muskowned platform. Many people say tweet or X Posts are not loading for them.
As of this writing, DownDetector is aware of over 1,000 users facing the issue.
At its peak, more than 1,200 users experienced X problem. That number is now hovering just over 1,000, indicating that the problem may be starting to be resolved, but it’s not yet back to normal for all users. DownDetector notes that most people are experiencing issues with the app, with users starting complaining around 3:46 a.m. ET.

one wrote “Okay, wow, the app finally stopped loading tweets…”. Another frustrated user commented “Of course, I came out when Twitter was down.”
Others chimed in, expressing their outrage. a user wrote “@elonmusk, my Twitter is down, what did you spend $100 billion on x for? To make it crash every 5 seconds and make the layout worse,” The world’s richest man and X owner.
How to fix X posts (tweets) not loading?
If X posts or tweets fail to load, check for a server outage. If everything is fine, you can try checking your network connection and turning off any active VPNs. One can also try updating the X app from the device store or refreshing the browser page.
Other ways to try to resolve the issue are to clear the app or browser cache, or uninstall and reinstall the app. However, given that a lot of people are experiencing problem X, it’s likely that this is their own problem and not something that a user-side fix can fix.
However, X has not commented on the brief hiatus, nor revealed the reason. At the same time, many users also talked about the new layout of the platform. “Woke up this morning and Twitter (I would never call it wrote.
