Mukbang YouTuber Yuno apologizes after video of ordering food on plane sparks backlash

Mukbang YouTuber Yuno has apologized after receiving severe criticism for a video he shot during a long-haul flight. The creator, who has more than 780,000 YouTube subscribers, recorded himself ordering food more than 20 times in first class on a flight that lasted about 15 hours. Many viewers felt that repeated food requests created extra work for flight attendants and could disturb other passengers. After backlash spread online, Yuno deleted the video and issued a public apology, admitting he had made the wrong decision.

Soon after the video was uploaded, many viewers criticized the YouTuber. They say ordering multiple meals on a flight puts an unnecessary burden on crew members. Others also believe the constant requests could make nearby passengers uncomfortable in a shared space. As criticism continued to mount, Yuno removed the video from his YouTube channel and addressed the issue with a detailed apology posted on his YouTube community page.

Yuno said he was too focused on the content and apologized to the crew

In his apology, Yuno explained that he had asked the flight attendant for permission before filming. He said he planned to only ask for food if other passengers were already offered meals or snacks.

However, he admitted that obtaining permission would not allow his repeated demands to be accepted. Yuno said he didn’t realize requesting so many meals would create extra work for flight attendants or make other passengers uncomfortable. He also admitted that the way the video thumbnail presented the challenge made it look even more spectacular because he was so focused on making it unique.Yuno promises that he will be more careful in the future, as making funny videos should not replace respect for those around you. He ended up apologizing to the flight attendant, who was still friendly even though his request was unreasonable. The incident sparked yet another discussion on the internet about mukbang videos and the obligations of creators when filming them in public places. While Yuno quickly apologized and deleted the video, the public reaction showed that many people don’t appreciate when influencers act without considering the impact on workers and others.
