Social media posts cited harsh police response
Several local Facebook groups shared a message claiming that Project Blue has been launched.
“Plan Blue (police mutual aid) has been activated and state police are requesting officers to respond to the scene. Additional officers from Bristol, Southington, Prineville, Farmington and other area departments have responded to the area. 3 ambulances have arrived on scene with unconfirmed reports of serious injuries,” the post read.
