Mill Creek Fire Update: Fire breaks out at Parley Historic Nature Park across from Tanner Park in Utah; horrific videos continue to emerge
lots of vegetation fire According to reports, Parley’s Historic Nature Park Utah on Sunday. The park is located on the city boundary between Salt Lake City and Mill Creek. It is located across from Tanner Park at 2660 East Heritage Way. The fire broke out in the 2700 block of Canyon Rim South 2700 East in Salt Lake City.

Notice from the City of Millcreek read “The fire has grown, but there is no immediate threat to property in the area and crews are doing a great job. Power outages are reported along portions of the canyon rim,” they said earlier. “A 1-acre vegetation fire is occurring at Parley Historic Natural Park. I-215 is closed and units are on scene. If possible, please stay away from the area so emergency crews can work.”

As of this writing, the fire has now spread to 15 acres duty officertracking fire outbreaks across the United States. Exits from I-80 to I-215 are closed and units are undergoing structural protection.
The cause of the fire has not yet been released and there are no evacuation orders in place. So far, no injuries have been reported.

Photos of the fire also appeared online from the scanner page.
“UFA and SLCFD are responding to a grass fire. The fire occurred near the dog area at Tanner Park. Multiple power lines are threatened. City engines are being installed to protect structures,” the post read.
Maps of the affected areas were also shared online.
Mill Creek Fire Response
Some people are reacting to news of a fire at Utah’s Parley Historic Natural Park. “Wow, I love going down that road, it’s so sad,” one of them exclaimed. Another added: “Agreed, it’s gotten worse over the years.”
Another said: “Sad…I’ve been there but dog Trash everywhere and the smell made me go somewhere else. Maybe it will burn all the waste on the ground. “
On X, one commented “New fire in Tanner Park, Salt Lake City, ravine fire, 5 engines, bordering homes. 2700e 2700 s”. Another commented on their previous post, explain “This is the park that’s on fire right now. It’s adjacent to Tanner Park.” Earlier, they wrote “We absolutely love taking our dogs to Parley Historic Nature Park in Salt Lake City – it’s a beautiful off-leash attraction with trails and plenty of room to run. We’re always looking for new places to explore!”.
