Menifee ‘Bluff Fire’ maps, evacuation updates: Video shows massive fire in Riverside County
The Bluff Fire continued to burn near homes in Menifee, California’s Riverside County, on Thursday night, prompting local evacuations and a massive emergency response. A vegetation fire broke out near Pacific Bluff and Brentworth streets shortly before 3:46 p.m. PST, CAL FIRE reported. What started as a small brush fire later grew to an estimated 10 to 15 acres. While firefighters battle the Bluff Fire in Riverside County, officials confirmed that the Narrows Fire in Ladera Ranch in Orange County is fully extinguished and under control.
According to official records from the Orange County Fire Department, the fire started near Narrow Canyon Road and Acaster Way on July 7 at approximately 4:45 pm PDT. The fire initially covered about a quarter of an acre and later grew to about 5 acres. Within two hours the advance came to a halt.
