Indian technician killed his wife in the United States three months after their marriage and sent photos of the body to his girlfriend; arrested
An Indian man who worked as an engineer in the United States faces homicide charges in the death of his wife, nearly nine months after she was found dead in a Washington couple’s apartment.

Police said the man, 30-year-old Avinash Narne from Telangana, strangled his 27-year-old wife Raajitha Sabbineni in October 2025 and faked the crime scene to evade suspicion.

An extensive police investigation into the case led to evidence pointing to Nunn’s role in the murder, and he has now been arrested. Evidence also found that Narne had a secret relationship with another woman in India and planned the murder, local media reported.
The couple reportedly got married in June 2025 and moved in together a month later. Nunn had a relationship with another woman before her marriage.

Send photo of dead wife to girlfriend
Documents cited by local media reports said Nunn had been in contact with his girlfriend shortly after he reportedly killed her. He even sent her photos of Sabineni’s body and spoke to her four times on the day he allegedly killed his wife.
Narne reportedly killed Sabineni on October 27, 2025, and reported to police that his wife was locked in the bathroom and unresponsive. Police arrived at the couple’s Washington apartment and found her lying on the floor. She was pronounced dead after a medical examination.
An investigation found he died of asphyxiation, prompting police to launch a homicide investigation.
Sabineni also complained multiple times that the drinks tasted bitter, local reports said, citing documents. On the day she died, she told Nunn that the smoothies he made tasted like “medicine” and “cough syrup.”
Narne has been arrested, has $5 million being held on a bond and, under Washington state law, could face life in prison if convicted.
