Taylor Robinson hearing: Candace Owens mocks Erica Kirk’s ‘tears’, accuses her ‘paid influencers’ of hiding the truth
Candace Owens takes a swipe at Erica Kirkmocking her “tears” and what she calls “the hired influencer track” Taylor Robinson The hearing begins Monday, July 6, in Utah. Robinson face to face Charlie Kirk’s Widow, Erica, and Charlie’s parents meet for the first time since the assassination.
In the same X post, Candace challenged the evidence that will be presented in court, calling it “uncensored.”
“Today the Taylor Robinson Show Trial Begins,” candace wrote. “Evidence such as the text message confession will be allowed in court, although Taylor’s defense will not have the right to review the messages to determine whether they were tampered with or who actually sent them. Keep in mind that despite multiple discovery requests, the FBI and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms were not forced to turn over key evidence because the judge ruled that it was not necessary at this stage.”
She continued, “The key witness statement of Lance Twiggs will be played, but Lance Twiggs will not be allowed to be cross-examined because the judge ruled that it is not necessary at this stage. Today is about emotion. You will hear the Fed’s narrative, but the defense will not have any ability to meaningfully challenge it.”

She added, “What you can expect (besides Erica’s tears) is her hired influencers trying to convince you that the uncensored evidence is ‘overwhelming’ and ‘undeniable.’ Sit back and watch the predictable show. The real trial will come later. Charlie’s army is growing. Ultimately, the truth will prevail.”

The proceedings are similar to a mini-trial. Prosecutors plan to present DNA evidence linking Robinson to the alleged murder weapon, investigators’ testimony, autopsy results, eyewitness testimony and video of Kirk’s murder. They must provide all evidence and may use second-hand information or hearsay.
At the end of the hearing, state District Judge Tony Graf will decide whether the case should proceed. Graf declined a defense request to limit access to reporters and members of the public.
Prosecutors must prove there is reasonable cause to believe Robinson killed Kirk. This standard is actually lower than that of a trial, in which prosecutors are required to prove guilt “beyond a reasonable doubt.”
Charlie, 31, was allegedly shot and killed by Robinson on September 10, 2025, while attending a campus event in Utah. According to a statement from Utah Valley University (UVU), the shooting occurred around 12:20 pm local time during a student Q&A event at UVU in Orem.
