The lawsuit also alleges that Arby’s staff tried to conceal the truth about surveillance footage when Church confronted the restaurant. Church’s family claims restaurant staff tried to resolve the matter by offering them free sandwiches as compensation.

Church’s grandmother told KJRH she is now afraid to kiss her husband because he also ate the food and could have contracted the virus even if he had no symptoms. The family’s attorney, Will Blocker, criticized restaurant staff, saying employees knew what was going on but did not stop serving food. Bullock also said the problem may not be limited to Broken Bow restaurants and said his legal team will investigate whether it reflects a broader issue involving Flynn’s Restaurant Group, which owns hundreds of Arby’s restaurants.

The church family is seeking compensation for damages including pay Medical bills, physical pain and suffering, and other losses. Amanda Hendricks was charged with felony poisoning food with intent to injure, KJRH reported, citing a court affidavit. It’s unclear whether Hendrix has an attorney representing her.
