Alexis Wilkins slams critics questioning performance at upcoming Freedom 250 event, ‘I was invited voluntarily…’
Kash Patel’s girlfriend, Alexis Wilkinslashed out at critics who questioned her being booked at a venue Free 250 Event on Wednesday, June 24, on the National Mall in Washington, DC. The move follows Wilkins’ announcement on Tuesday that she will perform at the Great American State Fair, an event organized by the Freedom 250 group founded by Trump.

However, critics began to question whether her relationship with Patel helped secure the booking. One X user asked whether inviting Wilkins to perform violated federal ethics laws.
“Would it be a violation of federal ethics laws to have the girlfriend of the FBI director accept taxpayer payments to perform?” The post reads.
‘I will no longer accept false narratives’
Wilkins fires back quickly On X lists three things she wants people to figure out, “because it’s long overdue.”
“I’ve been a country music artist for many years. I’ve had a successful career in both music and commentary/strategy. People aren’t going to deny that because of clicks or headlines. I was asked to volunteer to sing the anthem, just like I’ve been to so many other places in my career,” Wilkins’ first point reads.

Third, Wilkins writes, “The entire celebration of Freedom250 is conducted through fundraising means; it is neither ultimate fighting championship None of the National Mall celebrations are “taxpayer funded” (you might think, as a reporter, that would be something she would know about or at least investigate).
“I will no longer accept false narratives and completely false accusations that undermine my hard work and accomplishments, so please expect this response to continue,” she concluded.
