Spencer Pratt slams Los Angeles mayor Karen Bass For her response to a massive warehouse fire boyle heights. Bass declared a local state of emergency on Saturday, June 20, to secure citywide resources.
In one of her latest posts, Bas wrote on“We are closely monitoring the fires in Boyle Heights. As firefighting efforts continue, smoke and poor air quality may affect parts of Los Angeles. Out of an abundance of caution, please take steps to protect yourself and your family.”
Platt shared Bass’s post, writing”, “Karen was sipping cocktails in Chicago when the Boyle Heights fire broke out, just like she was sipping cocktails in Ghana when our Palisades fire broke out. I’m warning you all…what happens to us will happen to all of Los Angeles. Los Angeles’s choking smog is filled with lead. Don’t breathe it in! “

“Two years ago, this warehouse had a solar panel fire. Not only did Karen Barsula do nothing after that, but she slashed the LAFD’s budget and now they can’t stop the fire and it’s spewing heavy metal into the lungs of Boyle Heights residents for a week straight. Good job, Karen!” Platt wrote another post.

Smoke still looms over parts of Los Angeles County as firefighters battle a blaze in Boyle Heights. Meanwhile, local and state entities are providing resources to help those affected by the fires, NBC Los Angeles reported.
The governor’s office said state agencies, including the California Environmental Protection Agency (CalEPA), are coordinating closely with the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) to mitigate health hazards from smoke.
The fire started last week but has been difficult to extinguish due to the massive amounts of rotting food in the building (an estimated 85 million pounds of rotting food), as well as rooftop solar panels and dangerous lithium-ion batteries. These factors, coupled with damage to ammonia pipelines used for industrial refrigeration, may have worsened the situation.
Meanwhile, California Governor Gavin Newsom officially declares state of emergency on Saturday Los Angeles County is in an ongoing battle with wildfires.
