Local news outlets reported that the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call regarding a shooting at a convenience store. A local news outlet reported that the man had been shot in the neck, and first responders who arrived at the scene found the victim with a “serious gunshot wound.”
“We are requesting a medical helicopter be dispatched to fly the victim to Savannah for treatment. Those believed to be involved in the shooting remain on scene and are in the custody of Hinesville Police.” Report further added. Someone else shared a photo of an alleged police presence and helicopter at the scene of a reported shooting.
“Praying for the situation in Haynesville, GA. Just heard a man was shot six times in the chest due to a fight over a free gas pump in Wawa,” the person wrote, although this information has not been confirmed by any authorities.
