Elena Moore update: Video from week before alleged disappearance shows missing woman trying to enter stranger’s home

What is certain is that the video shared on X and Facebook comes from an unverified profile and appears to be a doorbell video. HT.com cannot independently verify the authenticity of the video.

“A week ago Elena Moore After disappearing, she was seen following a DoorDash delivery driver up the stairs of an apartment building and picking up a food order. However, the shipment was not hers and did not belong to her apartment. ” the person who shared the video wrote in the caption.

“The video shows Elena looking at the receipt in confusion before the real resident opens the door and takes her order. She then attempts to follow the resident into the apartment. The resident and their partner said she appeared disoriented and “apathetic” during the encounter,” they added.

Elena Moore’s husband, Brannon Slice, also reportedly posted earlier that she was unwell, but later deleted it. The alleged video shows Moore wearing a black T-shirt, slacks and dark sunglasses. She appeared to speak with the delivery agent before picking up the package and looking at the bill. Moore then rang the doorbell and, after handing over the package, appeared to attempt to follow the person into their home. However, Moore interacted with another person, believed to be a stranger, before the door was closed and Moore first walked to the right, toward the stairs, and then turned left.

Some people reacted to the alleged video, questioning Moore’s actions. “Does she know anyone in that complex?!? This whole thing is getting weirder and weirder!!” one said. Another added: “It looks like she may be suffering from something more serious than a mental health issue.” Another added: “It’s obvious to me that she thought the door she was standing in front of with food was her apartment. When she realized the order wasn’t for her food she was so shocked she even entered the person’s apartment door.”

The police report described Moore as a “white female, 5 feet 07 inches tall, weighing approximately 120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.” Authorities said she was last seen wearing an olive green zip-up hoodie and black sweatpants.
