MAGA source says Trump is ‘frustrated with everyone’ in White House: ‘The knife is out’
After a series of political setbacks and internal disputes, Donald Trump has become increasingly frustrated with those around him, according to a report cited by Politico.A senior MAGA source close to the White House told Politico that the 79-year-old president is said to be “disappointed with everyone, from his own team to the Senate.”The anger stems from recent Republican failures and pushback on key issues, the report said. Those include opposition to a proposed $1.8 billion “anti-weaponization” fund, a boycott of $1 billion in security funding tied to Trump’s planned White House Ballroom project, and Republican leaders’ refusal to oust the independent Senate member despite his requests. The MAGA source told Politico, “He’s been fucked, and people haven’t realized the extent to which he’s been fucked.” “He doesn’t like being put in a box. When you put him in a box, Trump blows up the box.”The setbacks have added to the frustration within the White House. The Justice Department froze $1.8 billion in compensation funds, while Senate Republicans eliminated an additional $1 billion in security provisions from the broader $70 billion Immigration and Border Enforcement bill.Tensions also rose last month after Trump criticized Senate Majority Leader John Thune and called for Senate Rep. Elizabeth MacDonough to be removed from office after Trump ruled that ballroom security funding could not be included in the immigration package.Despite resistance, Trump has continued to push for more controversial appointments, including an allegiance to Bill Pulte as director of national intelligence, a position that requires extensive national security experience. The White House defended the nomination. “Bill Pulte is a great pick and he will do a great job,” spokesman Davis Ingler told POLITICO, describing the president’s team as “world-class.”“The report also describes a tightening inner circle around Trump, who is said to be relying on a small group of loyal advisers, including Pulte, personal adviser Boris Epstein and aide Natalie Harp. Harp was nicknamed “The Human Printer” because he carried a portable printer that he used to create favorable online posts for the president.“The knives are out to a certain extent,” a White House ally added. “I mean, people are stabbing people. Like, it’s confusing. Chaos just like creeps back. “Trump also reacted after his endorsed candidate in the Iowa gubernatorial primary, Randy Feenstra, lost the race. “He was really angry — really really angry — about the support in Iowa,” a White House ally said, adding that Trump blamed advisers for pushing him to make the decision.
