Thousands Verizon Communications Customers in Texas reported outages on Verizon’s network Tuesday afternoon. In response, Verizon confirmed on social media that its service Texas They were affected after the fiber optic was cut and they are working hard to restore it.

In response to questions from X users, Verizon-supported X accounts confirmed the problems occurred after the fiber was cut.
It read: “A fiber cut is causing service outages for customers in the West Texas area. Our engineers are aware of this issue and are working quickly to resolve it. Please visit our Check Network Status page for service updates in your area. We know how many people rely on Verizon and we apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you for your patience.”
DownDetector, a platform that tracks such outages based on user feedback, suggests The outage began around 4 p.m. ET It peaked around 4:40 pm ET, with 2,500 users reporting issues. As of now, more than 1,600 users are still experiencing problems using Verizon’s services, mostly in Texas.
