Rajasamand: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Sunday visited the famous Shri Nathji Temple in Rajasthan to offer prayers on the auspicious occasion MahashivratriThere, she held traditional ceremonies and prayed for the people. After receiving the blessings of the Lord, I sincerely thank all the residents here for their immense love and support.” I also want to assure the Rajasthani families living in Delhi that I will always be in touch with them and support them through every ups and downs. “On the occasion, Rekha Gupta participated in a traditional ceremony inside the temple and received a ceremonial scarf as a blessing from the temple priests.Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Transport Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh on Saturday unveiled a statue of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar at Hedgewar Arogya Sansthan in Shahdara.The chief minister told reporters after unveiling the statue that the hospital has been providing medical services for 27-28 years and the state government will expand the hospital in the future and bring the latest machines.“It is a proud moment. This hospital has been providing medical services to people for 27-28 years. On the 100th anniversary of RSS, the government has installed a statue of Dr Hedgewar, which is an inspiration to all of us. We will also expand this hospital and introduce latest machinery in the future,” said CM Gupta.Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, popularly known as “Dr. Sahab”, led the organization for fifteen years until his death in 1940. Before his death, he appointed Guruji MS Golwalkar as his successor and over the next three decades he expanded the RSS to every corner of India. Born on April 1, 1889 in Nagpur, Maharashtra, Hedgewar served as the founder and first Sarsanghchalak (chief) of the RSS.
