‘Give me one last chance’: Indian man questioned in UK for allegedly grooming 14-year-old girl
A viral video circulating on social media appears to show an Indian man confronting a group of self-proclaimed “British Patriots” in the UK after he was accused of trying to sexually groom a 14-year-old girl online.In the video, the man apologizes repeatedly and asks for another chance.The man in the video, named Pravna Bhatt, kept apologizing and begging for forgiveness during the confrontation.In the video, which has been widely shared on social media platforms, Butt can be heard saying: “This is the first time I am doing this and it will be the last time. Please give me one last chance.”According to media reports, Butt moved to the UK on a student visa three years ago and later stayed in the UK on a post-study visa after completing his studies at the University of Leeds.During the confrontation, Butt appeared to admit to sending messages to the account. The authenticity of the transaction cannot be independently verified.The group that confronted him also claimed he tried to arrange a meeting and asked the girl for money to book a hotel room.In several moments captured on camera, Bart appeared distressed and asked the group not to call the police. It is unclear whether a formal complaint has been made or whether British authorities are investigating the matter.The video cannot determine whether the account belongs to an actual minor or is part of a sting operation. Police did not immediately issue a formal statement on the incident.The video sparked online discussion about similar cases that have emerged in the UK in recent months.
