Isha Mahashivratri 2026 will be broadcast live through sign language interpretation

According to a press release, the Mahashivratri celebrations to be held on February 15 at Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore will be broadcast live globally with sign language interpretation for the deaf and hard of hearing people.The all-night event will start at 6pm and run until 6am on February 16. Organizers said the live broadcast will also be available in 23 Indian and international languages ​​for wider participation.

The show will be broadcast live via satellite in English, 11 Indian languages ​​(Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Assamese, Odia, Kannada, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam) and 11 foreign languages ​​(including Nepali, Russian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, Italian, Romanian, Arabic, Indonesian and Vietnamese).More details about the livestream can be found on the organization’s website.

VIP attendance

The chief guest at Isha Mahashivratri 2026 will be Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.Other attendees are expected to include Union Minister of State for Information, Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs Dr L Murugan; Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis; and Union Minister of State for Tourism, Petroleum and Natural Gas Suresh Gopi, among other public figures, spiritual leaders and artists.

Theme and culture line-up

According to reports, this year’s event is themed “Ganges” and will focus on the spiritual, cultural and ecological aspects associated with the Ganges. The program will include guided meditations led by Sadhguru, as well as music and dance performances.Artists scheduled to perform include Aditya Gadhvi and Prashant Sonagra. The collaboration with Sounds of Isha will include Swaroop Khan, Blaaze, Harish Sagane and Dhol Tasha, along with Swagat Rathod, Prithvi Gandharv, Aishwarya Nigam and Deepali Sahay.Organizers said Sadhguru will perform Yogeshwara Linga Maha Abhishekam for the first time at the event.
