He is a social worker, activist and educator currently stationed at san francisco. He holds a master’s degree in social work from UCLA.

Civil rights and immigration: Robinson wants California to become a full sanctuary state with zero cooperation with ICE. “Undocumented workers pay billions in taxes but are unable to participate in the programs they fund,” he said on his campaign website. He wants universal access to housing, health care and education regardless of immigration status.

Health Care: Robinson is pushing for universal health care that is completely free with no fees, premiums or deductibles. “We will cover everyone and everything, dental, vision, mental health, gender-affirming care, reproductive care and elder care. Everyone is covered regardless of immigration status,” he wrote on his campaign website. He also wants to cancel medical debt entirely.

Economy, wages and housing: Robinson calls for a $30 minimum wage, union rights for all workers and protections to prevent artificial intelligence from taking jobs. Regarding the housing issue, he said in a speech in Oakland on May 16, “House prices in California are too high. In the 20 years I have been in Los Angeles, there have been several years when I have had to make a decision, whether I want to pay for health insurance this month or whether I want to pay rent.”

Homelessness and reparations: Robinson supports direct cash reparations for Black Californians and said in a May 16 speech in Oakland that “no one should go hungry in a state with a trillion-dollar economy.”

Campaign Funding and Endorsements

According to Transparency, Robinson earned $73,522 in 2025 and had received $90,666 in campaign contributions as of May 29, 2026, City Times Media reported USA.

He is the official candidate of the Peace and Freedom Party and is endorsed by Vote Socialist California.

Robinson has been endorsed by multiple groups, including Fixing the Mess We Didn’t Create: Generation Z, New Deal Democrats, Vote for Peace and California iVoterGuide.

About the Peace and Freedom Party

According to the party’s official website, the Peace and Freedom Party (PFP) was founded in California on June 23, 1967 by people who opposed the Vietnam War and wanted to find political alternatives to the Democratic and Republican parties. The party describes itself as committed to socialism, democracy, ecology, feminism and racial equality, and says it represents working people rather than those with wealth and corporate power.
