president Donald Trump Support South Carolina Lieutenant Governor Pamela Everett. That would dramatically change the landscape of the race for limited-term governor Henry McMaster and deal a blow to fellow Republican Nancy Mace, who had been widely seen as a potential front-runner.

Trump announced the endorsement on The Truth Society, praising Evette’s conservative credentials, leadership record and devotion to the “America First” movement.
Trump wrote in the post, “Pam Everett is a great friend, a fighter, a winner, and will make a great governor of South Carolina.” Later, Trump directly wrote: “Pam has my complete approval-she will never let you down!”
Who is Pamela Everett?
Pamela Evette, 57, currently serves as the Lieutenant Governor of South Carolina. In 2018, she made history as the first Republican woman elected to statewide office. She was elected alongside Governor Henry McMaster and has since become one of the state’s best-known Republican leaders.
Evette graduated from Cleveland State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.
Evette built her reputation as a business executive and entrepreneur as president and CEO of Quality Business Solutions, a South Carolina-based payroll and human resources firm.
Her business background became the cornerstone of her political identity. Throughout his tenure, Everett has championed conservative priorities such as job creation, workforce development, small business growth and conservative economic policies.
Evette’s supporters credit her experience in the private sector with helping her connect with business owners and voters concerned about economic issues.
She represented South Carolina on economic development campaigns, promoted workforce initiatives and became a reliable supporter of Trump’s policy agenda.
Evette lives in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, according to her Event page Enjoys spending time with her mother Jenny, her husband David and their three children.

Trump support snubs Nancy Mace
According to The Hill, Trump’s decision to support Evette is particularly noteworthy because of her close relationship with Nancy MaceA fellow Republican from South Carolina who has occasionally been seen as an ally and critic of Trump.
The endorsement shows that despite Mace’s previous efforts to strengthen his relationship with Trump, the former president currently views Evette as the favored candidate for future leadership of the state.
However, in recent months, Mace has increasingly called for the complete release of the Epstein documents. Mace said in an X post on Friday that her support for Justice Department documents on investigations of convicted sex offenders did not anger the president in the right way.
“I know that when I demand transparency in the Epstein dossier, I put the possibility of recognition at risk. I demand this because you deserve to know the truth — all of it — and as a survivor of a corrupt and broken court system, I will always seek justice for those who deserve it,” she wrote.
Still, for Evette, Trump’s endorsement represents the most important political boost she needs as it positions her as a leading contender in South Carolina’s gubernatorial race.
